Opportunity

With this site located in Greenville’s warehouse district it provided a chance to expand the residential offerings in the growing West End area of downtown Greenville. Prior to redevelopment the site contained an older warehouse building and a large amount of existing impervious areas.

Solution

Markley Place is a great example of urban revitalization with a strong nod to Greenville’s textile history. The project features an enclosed courtyard, stunning views of the downtown skyline from the upper floors, and reclaimed bricks from an old Ford Motor Company plant.

I for one, appreciate the hard work you did for the club on our bike lane projects and I’m proud that they are expanding and growing all the time.  I think you were one of the early pioneers on bike lanes in the community with some others. I appreciate your behind-the-scenes efforts. Thanks.
