A Michigan native and graduate from Michigan Technological University with a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering, Jacob started his career in Transportation Design. He worked with local municipalities and agencies on roadway and utility infrastructure projects to include improvements to water, sewer, and stormwater facilities, traffic calming implementations, and multi-use trail installations.

With the relocation to South Carolina and joining the team at Darrohn Engineering, Jacob has found interest in land development and stormwater permitting. He continues to expand his experience in a variety of projects to include roadway design, commercial and industrial developments, residential single and multifamily projects, and recreational facilities. His primary focus is to provide a detailed and cost-effective design for his clients while maintaining a positive environmental and community outlook.

Some hobbies Jacob enjoys outside of work are spending time with his wife MacKenzie in the outdoors going hiking, camping, hunting, fishing, and exploring our great national parks and forests.
