Avery is a native of Warner Robins, Georgia and a proud University of Georgia Alumna, Go Dawgs! Raised by a teacher and fireman, she is passionate about projects that make impacts in the community and believes engineering is as much about people as it is numbers.

Her technical experiences range from site layout and planning to stormwater permitting, green infrastructure, 3D utility modeling, and everything in between. Some of her favorite projects she has participated in include utility and stormwater modelling for Powerhouse 95 Data Center Complex in Spottsylvania, VA; permitting and construction package for Herndon Square Phase 2 in Atlanta, GA; and preliminary stormwater and grading design for Indigo Bay Community (Sint Maarten).

Outside of the office, Avery enjoys volunteering, running/weightlifting, cooking, raising chickens, and spending time outdoors with her husband Brian and two boys – Fletcher and Remington.
