Opportunity

Streetscape improvements at various locations along Augusta Street have been advanced over several years as properties have been updated and redeveloped along this corridor.

Solution

This shopping center was recently rehabilitated pushing Augusta Street corridor improvements south of Blythe Academy. Sidewalks and parking areas were renovated to repair weathered surfaces and add landscape islands, pedestrian scale lighting added along the street frontage, and greatly improved site aesthetics. Brick edged sidewalks mimicking similar improvements further west on Augusta Street were replicated here to bring continuity to the streetscape theme being implemented along the larger roadway corridor.

I for one, appreciate the hard work you did for the club on our bike lane projects and I’m proud that they are expanding and growing all the time.  I think you were one of the early pioneers on bike lanes in the community with some others. I appreciate your behind-the-scenes efforts. Thanks.
